Web Services Management for SOA:

Secure and Manage your Web Services

LOCATION: Zürich

SPEAKER: Marc Stampfli   COMPANY: Oracle (Schweiz) GmbH

In recent years, most large companies have deployed dozens of Web Services in a move toward Service-Oriented Architectures.

On the positive side, this will increase access to useful data and cut time to market. On the negative side, it also increases compliance risk and privacy and security holes.

Web Services Management (WSM) is an alternative concept that provides the visibility and control required to deploy Web Services into production. With WSM, organizations can enjoy a common security infrastructure for all Web Service applications.

This presentation explains what WSM is and how it can be used in practice. After a demonstration that shows the idea of WSM, best practices und customer references will be shared.
