He gives back to the performance community through the blogs, conference talks and now with his new initiative which he calls "Performance Clinics.

When not busy with performance problems he follows his second passion: salsa dancing.

Most performance problems in Java Applications under load dont require a large load test to find out.

In this session I show you several real life use cases, the metrics to look at and how to capture these metrics with your unit and integration tests.

We are going to use free available tools such as JMeter, JUnit, Dynatrace, NewRelic, ... to get this accomplished
