Generations ist kein neues Framework für Java Entwickler, sondern eine reale Herausforderung für Firmen die seit 20 oder mehr Jahren in der Softwareentwicklung tätig sind, und sich heute in der Java Welt bewegen.

Langjähriges und wichtiges Personal musste umgeschult werden. Viele dieser Programmierer finden sich am Anfang in der Java Welt nur schwer zu recht und fühlen sich im Kampf gegen die Java-Framework-Windmühlen nicht selten überfordert.

Dieser Vortrag ist ein Erfahrungsbericht aus zwei Firmen, die bis heute versuchen ihren Mitarbeitern zu helfen, in der modernen Java Entwicklung Fuss zu fassen.
